CATTLE DECAPITATION: Orangevale Footage Available
October 5, 2009Capital Chaos has uploaded video footage (see below) of San Diego extreme metallers CATTLE DECAPITATION performing the song "Regret & The Grave" on October 4, 2009 at The Boardwalk in Orangevale, California. Also on the bill were MUTINY WITHIN, DAMAGE OVER TIME and SOULFLY.
CATTLE DECAPITATION recently parted ways with bassist Troy Oftedal due to "musical and personal differences." The band stated at the time, "There is no bad blood and we wish him the best of luck. Filling in on upcoming tours will be our friend Rahsaan Davis. You may have seen him on our recent tour as Troy left tour early due to a physical ailment."
CATTLE DECAPITATION recently shot a video for the song "A Body Farm". The clip was directed by the band's friend, DOWNSPELL vocalist Tyson Metruccio (who previously helmed BRUTAL TRUTH's "Sugardaddy" clip),and was shot right before CATTLE DECAPITATION's last two-and-a-half-month tour.
Metal Blade Records released a limited-edition, picture-disc vinyl version of the new CATTLE DECAPITATION album, "The Harvest Floor", on April 14.
"The Harvest Floor" sold around 1,700 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD debuted at No. 16 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
